78th Independence Day

August 15, 2024: Bon Secours Arts & Science College for Women commemorated the 78th Independence Day with a spirited celebration on August 15, 2024, held on the college campus. The event featured a flag hoisting ceremony and two motivational speeches that highlighted the values of patriotism, democracy, and personal integrity.

The ceremony began with Thiru Siva Rajamanickam, a distinguished guest, hoisting the national flag. His presence added a sense of honor to the occasion. In his speech, Thiru Rajamanickam addressed the importance of democracy, emphasizing the role of every citizen in upholding democratic values and participating in the nation’s governance.

Following this, Secretary Sr. Ambrose Mary delivered an inspiring speech on the themes of hard work and sincerity. She spoke about the significance of dedication and integrity in achieving success and contributing positively to society. Her address resonated with the audience, reinforcing the importance of these values in both personal and professional life.

The celebration also included the singing of the national anthem and a cultural program that showcased India’s rich heritage. The event was attended by the college management, staff, and students, who actively participated in the patriotic activities.
