Red Ribbon Club (RRC)
The Red Ribbon stands as a worldwide sign of awareness towards HIV/ AIDS since 1991. The key objective of Red Ribbon Club is to create awareness among the students about STD/HIV/AIDS and to produce them as Effective peer educators and an empowered women in the global stratum.
OBJECTIVES:
- To diminish the HIV infectivity among the younger generation through awareness regarding sex, sexuality and HIV/AIDS.
- Enabling the youth especially the young women to identify and understand the situations of exploitation and abuse.
- To promote an attitude of voluntary non- remunerated blood donation among the youth.
- To promote the skills of the youth concerning leadership, negotiation, and team building.
- To offer an excellent training in carrying out the First Aid to the affected and the deprived
