Youth Red Cross (YRC)
YRC is a voluntary service body of our affiliated university which offers humanitarian services to the fellow human beings. It primarily focussed on the health related services to the community voluntarily. YRC also provides training to develop the leadership quality and the enhancement of the overall personality of the students.
The Youth Red Cross is started to bring assistance by avoiding discrimination to the suffering humanity. It supports to promote mutual understanding, friendship, co- operation and lasting peace in the society. The students of YRC will be given various training programmes such as disaster management, firefighting, first aid, road safety, traffic control, health care, blood donation and awareness about Air Force and Navy.
OBJECTIVES OF YRC:
- To encourage the students in extending their humanitarian service to the society.
- To amplify the leadership quality among the students.
- To understand and to accept the civic and human responsibilities
- To organize social and health consciousness programmes.
- To propose the first aid training to all the YRC volunteers.
