August 20th, 2024 — The “Bharathi Ilamkavignar Virudhu” state-level poetry competition, a celebrated event conducted by the Department of College Education, commenced on August 20, 2024, in Thiruvarur district. This prestigious competition, which runs from August 20th to 24th, 2024, features students from Government Arts and Science Colleges, Colleges of Education, Engineering Colleges and various technical institutions across the state.
On the first day of the competition, held at Thiru. Vi. Ka College, Thiruvarur, P. Priyadharshini, an II MSc Mathematics student, garnered attention by securing the second prize. Her exceptional performance in poetry was highly acclaimed, reflecting her remarkable talent and dedication.
