Bachelor of Commerce with Computer Applications is incepted in the year 2019 with 36 students and currently its strength reached to 200. The department strives hard to bring success and sustenance of the student community. The Programme comprises of Commerce and Computer Applications, incorporating technologies, indulging various software via, C, C++, Oracle, Visual Basic, Tally and Web designing. The programme provides platform to the students to explore all avenues so to enhance their competencies in the field of commerce, computer applications, research, soft skills, community service and co-curricular activities.
Department Mission
To instill young minds with the sound knowledge of the contemporary trends in commerce and computer applications to conquer the topical global challenges.
Programme Objectives (PO)
The objectives of B.COM-CA Programme are:
- To understand the Foundation and Importance of Computer skills which are relevant to Commerce.
- To know the impact of E-Commerce on Business model strategy
- To provide a strong conceptual foundation and understanding of the functioning of accounting, finance, taxation, management, marketing and computers.
- To acquire practical skill to work as tax consultant, Audit Assistant and other financial supporting services
Programme Educational Outcomes (PEO)
The expected outcomes after completing the program would be:
- Graduates will have solid foundation in bookkeeping, accounting, computers and professional fundamentals required to record the business transaction ability.
- Graduates will apply technological skills in accounting, taxation by creating and applying the appropriate software and software tools for business management.
- Graduates will obtain the ability to analyze and develop programs for system-based applications which will help in solving complex business problems to make effective decisions.
- Graduates will exhibit critical thinking skills in understanding the real-time business issues and advocate solutions.
- Graduates will acquire and demonstrate the interpersonal and communication skills to convey and negotiate ideas for achieving the common goals.
- Graduates will attain and exhibit skills to work as team to take effective decisions in achieving the common goals.
- Graduates will demonstrate the leadership skills to initiate lead and deliver the best performance together with the team members.

Lab Facilities
Ample computers have been kept available in the laboratory to rejuvenate the spirit of the students. In this laboratory 60 students can be accommodated at a time and each of them can access computer of her own. A swift Internet facility is being provided to all 60 systems for which LAN is provided. Computer Laboratory has been kept open from morning 9.30 am to 5.00 pm. during all the working days. High-capacity Power Bank (UPS) was also installed in the best interest of the students’ community as not to make any interruption during their working time towards computers. All computers in this laboratory are of latest upgraded configuration.
