On 27th July 2024, K.R. Vaishali, a 3rd year Computer Science student, emerged victorious in the 1st Place in International Silambam Tournament held in Coimbatore.
Vaishali’s exceptional skill and unwavering dedication to the ancient martial art of Silambam earned her the First Place among participants from across the globe. The event, which celebrated the cultural heritage of Silambam, attracted competitors from various nations, showcasing their mastery of this traditional sport.
The college also extended heartfelt appreciation to Vaishali’s Silambam master, whose expert guidance and mentorship were instrumental in shaping her success. Their relentless efforts and commitment to preserving this historic art form have inspired students to excel in this field.
