August 11th , 2024: Students from Bon Secours Arts & Science College for Women, Mannargudi, achieved an extraordinary feat at the Thiruvarur District-Level Powerlifting Competition held at Valangaimaan Boys Higher Secondary School. Demonstrating strength and determination, the college clinched the Overall Championship title, with multiple students securing first prize in their respective categories.
The star performer of the event was S. Sinthiya, II BA English student, who was honored with the prestigious Good Lifter Award for her outstanding performance.
