The Department of Computer Science & Computer Application, commemorated World Wide Web Day with an engaging quiz program titled W3 Trivia held on August 1, 2024, at Conference Hall 2, the event aimed to enhance students’ knowledge of the internet and its fundamentals. The quiz was open to students from various departments, including CS, BCA, B.Com, B.Com (CA), BBA, and other interested streams. The event sought to foster an understanding of Internet basics, encourage cross-departmental participation, and provide a competitive yet fun learning environment. The quiz covered many topics related to the World Wide Web, including its history, key figures, milestones, terminology, concepts, and current trends. Prizes were awarded to the top three performers, and all attendees received certificates of participation. The quiz, which saw enthusiastic participation from over 170 students, was praised for its organization and the relevance of its content. The BITA Association thanked all participants, volunteers, and faculty members.
